Medica Pacifica & bioMérieux Host AMR Symposium 2023

Medica Pacifica, in partnership with bioMérieux, successfully hosted the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Symposium 2023 under the theme "Curbing AMR Through a Collaborative Healthcare Approach."
The symposium brought together healthcare professionals, laboratory scientists, clinicians, pharmacists, and industry partners to explore the critical role of collaboration in combating antimicrobial resistance through improved diagnostics, antimicrobial stewardship, and evidence-based patient care.
The event was honoured by the presence of the Chief Guest, Honourable Dr. Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu, Minister for Health and Medical Services, whose address reinforced the importance of a coordinated national effort to address the growing challenge of AMR in Fiji and the Pacific.
As part of the programme, Medica Pacifica presented the Honourable Minister with a commemorative token of appreciation in recognition of his support and commitment to strengthening healthcare in Fiji.
